Moving Already?!?

Yay for moving again! I am going to be moving starting on Monday to a new apartment! I will be moving across town to Henderson. It is a beautiful suburb with a lot going on. I will be in a one bedroom in a cute area. I will only be about 5 minutes away from Jaimi instead of about 30 minutes, so I am really looking forward to that! It will take me about the same amount of time to get to work, so no change there. There wasn't anything that happened to make me want to move so suddenly, just that it will be nice to have a place of my own and to decorate how I want. I will be sure to post some pictures soon!

This is one of my roommates Megan. We have become 2 peas in a pod, although we could not be more opposite in every way! If I like it she hates it...

Flights have been set...I will be home Monday June 15 around 2:30 and leave really early Friday morning June 19th. As it gets closer, I will let you all know the plans for the week!

Mama I'm Coming Home...

Just wanted to let you know I am going to be coming home for a few days in June! It just so happens to be during College World Series (the greatest time of the year), and Aunt Jenny, Uncle Kevin, Andrew, and Jenna will be there! I will either be home the night of the 14th or the morning of the 15th through the 18th. I am already planning where I want to eat...La Mesa, Amigos, and Runza are top on the list.

4 Weeks and Still Loving It!

Well, I have been in Vegas now for a month and things are good! It feels like I have been here longer, except for the fact I have no idea how to get anywhere and generally miss every exit I have the intention of taking.

Work has been a little back and forth. I spent one month at the store at Town Square. Town Square is a really nice outdoor mall south on the strip. It has every store you could think of and a lot of good restaurants. About 2 weeks ago they told me I would be transferring stores to a Dillard's partner shop, just like the one I worked at in Omaha. Today was my first day at the new store and it definitely will be a challenge. There were a lot of theft issues with previous associates, so they brought in me and another girl who is actually from Lincoln! Leave it to the Nebraska girls to save the day! So, basically they are looking to us to turn the store around.

Other than work, I have been spending a lot of time with a girl from Plattsmouth, her name is Jaimi. She lives here with her husband, daughter Ivy, and son Xavier, and there will be a baby girl arriving in a few weeks! My parents joke that I am joining their family now since I spend almost every day off with them. We go shopping, to the pool, make dinner, or go to Jamba Juice for Xavier to suck down my drinks! They are awesome and I love spending time with all of them!
